Birthday Dinner: Chicken Parmesan

For Danny's birthday I prepared one of his favorite meals. Chicken Parmesan with angel hair pasta and garlic rosemary bread. Now this was my first time making it and I thought it was going to be more complicated to prepare, but to my surprise to was pretty simple. The recipe is from Tyler Florence! Try it out! (link below)

Here are some pictures of how last night's dinner went!
Pounded chicken dredged in flour, egg and then herb bread crumbs.
Two counts of extra virgin olive oil and pan frying the chicken, 2 minutes on each side.
Then placing the chicken in the homemade tomato sauce! The tomato sauce is 1 medium onion (diced), 2 garlic cloves (minced), 2 bay leaves with olive oil in a pan until softened. Then 2 28 oz cans of whole tomato's, hand crushed and drained. Let simmer until the chicken is placed on top.
Place fresh mozzarella and shaved parmesan on top of chicken! Then put the skillet in the oven uncovered for 15 minutes.
Serve with your favorite pasta and garlic bread! Yum!
