Barbacued BBQ Chicken Pizza

Danny and I got the idea of barbaqued bbq chicken pizza from Bob & Pat Norman, Danny's grandparents. Every year at Bass Lake they make their own Italian version with olive oil, garlic and herbs! Since we love it so much we wanted to make our own, but bbq chicken style! Here is how we did it.

 Recipe:

1 package fresh pizza dough (store bought or home made)
1 to 2 cups shredded chicken, off a rotissorie or oven roasted chicken breasts
1/2 to 1 cup bbq sauce, your favorite kind
2 cloves garlic, freshly chopped
1 onion, sliced and grilled
1 roma tomato, chopped
fresh mozzerala cheese, as much as you want
1 handful cilantro

Work with your fingertips and form into a circle. We cut our dough in half and made two pizzas. Spray the hot grill with non-stick stray and throw your dough on until nice grill marks form, then turn over to grill the other side. While on the grill brush your favorite barbaque sauce on and top with chicken, onions, garlic, tomato and cheese. Cover lid on your bbq to ensure the cheese will melt and dough will be cooked through. This should only take a few minutes. Take off the grill and top with fresh cilantro. Cut, eat, enjoy!
