Crock Pot Cooking: Pulled Pork

A great solution for dinner during a busy week night. While you're at work, cleaning the house or running errands, crock pot cooking could be the easiest and most delicious meal you have with every little effort.

Danny and I love pulled pork. We make pork sandwiches, pork and egg breakfast burritos and shredded pork with mashed potatoes and bbq sauce! But we don't always want to turn on the oven and constantly check on the rump in the oven. So one day Danny rubbed a pork shoulder, about 2 to 3 pounds, with freshly chopped garlic, freshly cracked pepper, red chili flakes, Sriracha, salt, cayenne, brown sugar and let it sit over night. The next morning we put it in the crock pot with 3/4 cup chicken broth on high for 5 hours and then switched it to low until the pork was basically falling off the bone. By dinner time it was ready!
Served on slightly sweet Hawaiian rolls with freshly fried onions ... Yum!
