Cranberry Walnut Relish

Another family recipe that my mom has made for every thanksgiving since I could remember. I think of this relish as a pallet cleanser! Very refreshing amongst the richness that comes along with a Thanksgiving meal.
Recipe
1 bag fresh cranberries, rinsed
1 large naval orange, washed clean, remove any end or stem piece
1 large sweet apple, washed clean with stem removed
1 cup sugar
1 cup walnuts
Use food processor and put all the cranberries in and grind into relish size pieces. Pour into a bowl, set aside. Cut the apple into wedges with the skin and pulse until relish size, add to cranberries. Zest the orange, place in the bowl and then peel the orange of any white pulp and cut into pieces! Pulse and add to the cranberries! Do the same with the walnuts. Add to the cranberries, orange and apple mixture. Pour in sugar and mix everything well. Put into a container with a tight lid and refrigerate, melding all favors. Serve chilled. Enjoy with all the turkey fixings!
